Angelina is a local hair dresser, single mother of 4, and soon to be breast cancer survivor. During SDBW, let's all come together as a community to help raise money for her second chance! There will be raffles, a new limited beer release, and a donation of beer sales during the fundraiser.
If you would like to donate a basket for the raffle, please email firstname.lastname@example.org .
Can't make it to the fundraiser? You can still help by donating directly!

Angelina’s Story (as told on her fundraising page by her dear friends):
When Angelina was 13, her Mother Sally was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After undergoing Chemotherapy treatments, Radiation and a lumpectomy, Sally was cancer free for a year. Sadly soon after that year, Sally realized the cancer had spread and after fighting for a year and a half, she passed away at the age of 37. The loss of her mother at such a young age has had an incredible impact on Angelina's life.
Angelina is now a wonderful mother to her four beautiful children, Esias (14), Sihlea (10), Veylah, (8) and Renna (3). Being a self-employed, single mother of 4 has its obvious struggles but in true Angelina fashion, Angelina is always positive and upbeat and ready to take on whatever the day throws at her.
We will never forget this past May 2016. This was the month our beautiful friend was diagnosed with Stage 3 Grade 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer which is the most aggressive form of Breast Cancer. Knowing what Angelina has been through with her mother and her extensive family history with Breast Cancer, Angelina sought out alternative treatments that could possibly give her a better outcome. After tons of research and countless conversations with her doctors, Angelina made the brave decision to attack this with everything she can. She has begun her 16 week round of Chemotherapy and at the end of this year will undergo a double mastectomy and begin reconstruction. At age 32 with 4 kids, there is no other option but to fight, and fight is what Angelina is doing!
In a very short period of time, Angelina has become the most incredible, courageous, and strongest woman we’ve known. Her incredible outlook on life and determination to beat this has been a true inspiration to all of us. She is always making us laugh with her infectious personality, and her positive energy and spirit is contagious. You can’t help but just love this girl!
In her research Angelina has found an incredible company that does vitamin infusions either as replacement for traditional treatment, or treatments for after Chemotherapy that will help get her body back in a healthy state. We strive to make sure that this is the last time she must go through this, and we will do anything we can to help her get there!
Angelina has already been so humbled by the outpouring of support and generosity that has been offered by friends, coworkers, clients, and the community. So many people keep asking what they can do to help during this challenging time. Prayers and positive words have helped Angelina though some of the most emotional and trying times but there is still such an impact on her and her family.
As we all know, the cost of medical bills, prescriptions, time off of work, trying to live a healthy and clean life, and not to mention children’s school, sports and day care costs add up. Since it is not in Angelina’s nature to ask for help, her coworkers and friends have set up the “Team Angelina” Fund to help offset the massive costs associated with bringing her back to health. We ask that you join “Team Angelina” and contribute to our effort. All funds will go directly to Angelina to help offset the huge financial burden this diagnosis has put on her.
Second Chance Beer Company is proud to be part of Team Angelina by throwing a fundraiser in her honor with all proceeds benefitting her family’s financial needs. Thank you, Goddesses, for helping to make it successful. Please have any/all raffle prize donation details (place, specifics, value, restrictions, deadlines, etc…) confirmed to me no later than November 1, 2016.
